P.T.O. Shaft types

Axis type

This type connects the P.T.O. shaft directly to the machines and is used to generators, pumps, long-tail boats, lawn mowers and so on.

	a) Generators Mesh a generator rotor to a taper shaft. The mainly used taper is: 1/5 taper (in meters) 3/16 taper (in inches)
	b) Pumps Directly thread to an impeller of a centrifugal pump. Shafts differ according to female thread size of impellers.
	c) Keyway Position a blade of a lawn mower using a key and secure it with bolts.
