In order to recapture the "essence of the XJR1300", we first attempted to define the essence of a "big naked machine". Then we concluded that like the VMAX, it is crucial to create an "very conspicuous engine" for the Paper Craft Model of the high-powered XJR. At the same time, it is vital to properly express the "simple form", which is a typical characteristic of this kind of machine. We have come to the conclusion that these two elements must play a critical role in expressing a "big naked machine" with realism.
On the basis of these factors, we need to deal with each part, carefully considering the size of the engine and its symmetry with the entire machine. It is essential to reproduce a balanced form overall since the "big naked machine" does not really show off its characteristics like "American" or "supersport" types. First keeping in mind the balance of the machine as a whole, we sketch parts such as the engine block, tank, seat and tires. After determining the size of each part, we work on the details.

At this present stage, we have not succeeded in fulfilling our ultimate goal of accurately reproducing the XJR1300. However, through these long-term efforts of trial and error, this authentic Paper Craft Model production continues to steadily progress.
