At the previous stage of part construction, we attempted to capture the essence of a "big naked bike" by carefully considering the overall balance between the engine parts and other parts. Now we are even more determined to express the essence of "XJR1300" when designing the overall paper craft model.

In order to reproduce realistic shape with the help of various materials, and narrow down the paper craft model design from "merely a big naked bike" specifically to "the XJR1300", we have attempted to capture the outline from the fuel tank to the rear cowl. At the same time, we need to be careful not to be caught up only with outwardly conspicuous parts and miss the balance as a whole. In order to express the XJR1300 realistically fully, we also need to pay careful attention to gaps between parts and part installation positions.

At this stage, we are designing the paper craft model with attention to the assembly procedure and tab making. We do not precisely transfer every detail of the actual model, including the frame and many other parts. A reckless increase in the number of parts would surely result in a very complicated paper craft model. From the viewpoint of designing the XJR1300 paper craft model, it is critical to take "easy assembly" into account while faithfully reproducing the form with as small a number of parts as possible.
