We are pleased to announce Yamaha Motor in Second Life, The 40th Tokyo Motor Show 2007 Tie-in campaign.

On October 24, Yamaha Motor is due to open in MagSL Tokyo(*1) in Second Life, a 3D virtual world. On the site, users can get free virtual editions of the new motor bikes that will be unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show 2007.
These motor bikes can be driven in Second Life.(The number of some free models will be limited.)

“Second Life” is a virtual world developed by the US company known as Linden Lab which is said to be one of the largest virtual spaces in the world with up to 9 million users (*2) and a monthly subscriber account growth rate of up to 1 million. The Japanese version launched in July of this year has a use population of about 500,000 (*2).
